Having had the misfortune to encounter a J walking pheasant which left me no way to avoid it, my cars front bumper was impacted. Causing the cruise control radar to be dislodged with minor splits to the bumper. Having, after the Xmas break, called our Main Dealer Service Desk and outlined the damage, we were highly recommended to contact Fairlight Coachworks, whom the dealer uses. Having reported the incident to our Insurance Company and stated we wanted the car to dealt with by Fairlight Coachworks, the process began and it all went so smoothly, I was astounded. Having made contact by email over the New Year weekend regarding repairs to my car, I received a call from Scott.
He told me that parts would be ordered when Manufactures Parts Dept. opened in New Year.
A few days later Scott rang to tell me the main items for replacement were in their workshop, he then ask if I could take my car to them the following Monday, 8th Jan. and that a courtesy car would be there for me. My car was left with them at 9.45am on Mon. and collected at 12.15pm on Friday 12th Jan. during that week Scott had left a message on our phone with update on progress. Upon collection, Scott explained that the C.C radar unit had only been dislodged without damage, so only the bumper was replaced. The car had been cleaned inside and out. What an absolute pleasure it was to deal with such fantastic family run business after our unfortunate incident. When you enter their premises, it’s like walking into a friends home, Scott and his team are so welcoming.
TOTALLY RECOMENDED for friendliness and excellent work, indistinguishable from new.

Despite being very busy, Steve came and collected my Hyundai Tucson after a DUI driver crashed into my parked car in Hove rendering it unroadworthy. Thereafter Scott and Steve kept me informed weekly.; brilliant communication assisted by a very polite and personable receptionist..
I was fully aware of the problems with the supply of spare parts but Fairlight continued to apologise for matters beyond their control. that said, I’m convinced their perseverence secured parts quicker than normal or others.
When I collected my car it had not only been repaired to showroom condition externally but was also washed and vacuumed inside.
I had another damage repair at an aproved Hyundai repairer in Brighton 18 months ago and the experience was the exact opposite to that at Fairlight.
If you get the opportunity to select your repairers, my advice is insist on Fairlight.

We were very pleased with how the repair job was undertaken. It was done efficiently and quickly. I was also impressed with the communication throughout the process. In these COVID-19 times, getting hold of the right person at the Insurers, dealers and repair shop is often a difficult and stressful procedure, but Fairlight took all this on and gave me regular updates at all stages of the repair.

From the reforming of the body work, to the matching and the application of the paint work, and to the final finishing. Fairlight coachworks did a great job on my BMW! Had a new front bumper and wing fitted along with refurbed alloy and a new headlight. The car looks brand new again and they even refitted the aftermarket front lip I had on the damaged bumper! Couldn’t recommend these guys enough and they made it all possible in a quick turnaround. They even returned my hire car back to enterprise for me. Will be using again for future vehicle works.

Second occasion I have used your service and have been very pleased with the standard. My latest visit was dealt with swiftly and efficiently and I have no complaints whatsoever.

I was impressed with the friendly but efficient and professional way the repairs to my car were carried out from initial estimate to completion of the work. As a consequence of the pandemic some parts required were on extended delivery dates I was, however, updated on progress at regular intervals which was very welcome. Once the parts were in stock the repair was completed promptly, to a high standard and the car returned to me on the day promised. I highly recommend this business.

It’s such a simple thing to do, but so many companies don’t communicate- Scot and the team kept me constantly updated with the progress of the repair to my golf R it was so nice not to have to call to chase for information. Scott went above and beyond for what should of been a normal repair after a RTA but due to my insurance company being very uncooperative it took much longer and Scott did an amazing job with chasing them up for me to get my car repaired. I needed a new door and they quoted and sourced the part in super quick time ( not easy right now!) and then fitted it in less than a day be cause they knew Auxillis were failing to provide me with a rental car as promised. They also let me have one of their courtesy cars at very short notice so I wasn’t inconvenienced. The workmanship is fantastic and my car has been returned to me looking like new. Right from the start when I asked you for a second option on the work that had been carried out on my car to collecting my car today the service you provided has been excellent, the workmanship is fantastic. Fairlight we’re sooooo helpful and efficient. Unfortunately someone bumped the back of our car, we didn’t know the insurance process but they managed to give us some really useful information. They did the work so quickly and did a brilliant job, and kept us informed. Highly recommend.

I called Scott a couple of hours after a truck reversed into the back of my Citroen C1, smashing the back glass and causing quite a bit of other damage.

Scott contacted the company responsible for the damage and sent a quote the same day. The payment arrived the following day and parts were ordered. I had my car back the following week, repaired, clear of any broken glass and valeted!

I am so impressed by the turnaround and by Scott´s positive attitude, making it stress free for me and would like to say a huge Thank You to all involved. A Great experience and I will definitely recommend Fairlight Coachworks to friends.

Very pleased with the service I have received from Fairlight Coachworks. My new-to-me car was only 6 days old when it was damaged in a car park, when parked and unoccupied – the other driver was still there and admitted liability. The insurance company (Aviva) made the whole process quick & easy and offered my a choice of 5 repairers – I chose Fairlight because they were nearest and had good reviews.
I booked the car in on line for Friday – on Monday Fairlight called to say they could fit it in sooner & I dropped it off later that day. They have kept in touch and rang me yesterday to say the car would be ready today, and rang at lunchtime today to say it could be collected at 4pm.
The repair is excellent and my car is as good as new. All the staff have been friendly, pleasant and helpful.
Highly recommended.

I had a tiny little dent on rear passenger door caused by a careless passenger opening the door of another car, parked ajacent. The repair done by fairlight seemed a little extensive (the whole side, bar the front wing) but I was advised this was better than a smart repair and
