Fairlight Coachworks is a family run business that was established by Mr Terry Burns back in 1990, with just 2 members of staff, including himself. Terry Burns, now the M.D. built his array of skills through carrying out work for the likes of Jack Barclay, the approved Rolls Royce dealer.
Taking on projects such as re-painting one of the fastest road bikes in production at the time, a feature which made its way on to Top Gear. Along with a number of projects that were featured in magazines such as Street Machine, Mini World and Performance Ford. The company’s reputation and growth exceeded expectations throughout the years. Along with the general day to day mainstream repairs, Terry also specialised in full restoration re-builds to showroom standard.
The company started within a 4 car shared unit with minimal parking facilities, and has now progressed to a single occupancy site that boasts an extremely presentable reception with waiting area, disabled facilities and enough space to hold more than 10 times the previous amount of cars with sufficient parking. Now established for over 25 years, we feel that as a company we continue to move forward.
With the latest facilities, tools, health and safety procedures and staff training this company can only continue to provide work to the highest possible standard, leaving you the customer feeling looked after.
Fairlight Coachworks are a BSI Approved Bodyshop, you can see what this means for you and your vehicle here and are also members of the RMI – The Retail Motor Industry Federation.
